This Month's Feature Toy Section

Hello everyone! Thanks for your patience in waiting for the first of our Toy Features section. Our first feature will be on the Star Wars 12 back Jawa and its various bubble differences. I have chosen this piece because I have been amazed over the years how many people that have bought faked or resealed Vinyl Jawas. It never occured to me that many people do not know that the Vinyl Jawa had a unique bubble. Anyway to help people avoid being ripped off in the future I thought I would show you the difference bubble variations unique to the Jawa.

The first Jawa was of course the Vinyl Cape variation. It is pictured below. Note it has a very thin and flat bubble which barely covers the figure. Only on the early 12 backs with the Vinyl Cape does this particular bubble exist.

The second version is the "Normal" slanted bubble you will find throughout most of the the Jawas many releases.

Regular Jawa

The third and most unusual version is the "R2-D2" oversized bubble. Please note there is a piece of cardboard behind and under the figure to support him.
